The Railguard 200 Fall Protection System sets up in minutes

Garlock offers many types of fall protection equipment for perimeter protection of machine work areas. Our Railguard 200 Portable Railing System is the perfect answer to setting up a perimeter guarding system in a matter of minutes. The cast iron base plates eliminate the need for expensive core drilling of concrete floors to mount railings. The Railguard 200 base plates are simply positioned around the perimeter of the work area, railings are inserted into the base plates and pinned together. That’s it! On concrete surfaces we recommend using rubber pads on the bottom of the base plates. These self-adhesive pads are factory applied to the bottom of the base plate to minimize skidding or shirting of the base plate. Our unique serrated pad design holds the base plate in position on just about any smooth surface out there. If you need to form a circle around a machine area you can use our C-Clamp attachment on the base plate that allows you to turn a railing in any direction you want and then clamp into position. We carry both manual and self-closing gated Guard Rail solutions

We also offer access gate in manual or self-closing models. Our manual model gates have a support wheel on one end and come in widths of 4’, 5’ 10’ or 12’ lengths. Custom sizes are available too. Manual gate can be setup to open in or out and right or left. They work in the Railguard 200 base plates as well as permanent mount bases. Our self-closing gates feature automatic closure assisted by a gas strut. Sizes available are 3’, 4’,5’, and 6’ widths. If using a self-closing gate with the Railguard 200 base plate we recommend using a gate width of 5’ or greater.
