SpeedGuard Fall Protection System stops falls from flatbed trailer decks

A fall from a flatbed truck can generate 4300 lbs. of impact force on the individual causing serious injury or worse. The SpeedGuard Flatbed Fall Protection System is a fast, efficient way to guard against falls from flatbed trucks. There are two models available that will adapt to the vast majority of trucks in service today. The Clamp-On model system is attached to the truck rails using an impact wrench. The Clamp-On Rail Holder system is desirable if the truck stake pockets are typically damaged because the stake pockets are not utilized for this attachment.

The Drop-In Guard Rail Holder System can be assembled faster than the clamp system

The Drop-In Rail Holder system is the quickest way to make the attachment to the truck simply by inserting the guard rail holder into the stake pocket of the truck with no need for mechanical attachment. If ordering the Drop-In style rail holder, it may be advisable to order a couple Clamp-On style guard rail holders just to accommodate an occasional stake pocket that is damaged. With the railing holders in place, the guard rails are inserted into the holders from ground level. Our ladder system meets ANSI standards and offers the worker a safe, easy way to get on or off the truck bed. Two workers can install the clamp system in under 15 minutes and the drop-in system in 6 minutes. The SpeedGuard fall protection system can also be ordered without the ladder system although the ladder system acts as a great carrier to keep components organized on one platform. We also offer adapters that can close off both short ends of a truck if the ladder is not used.
